Very popular with the delegates each year. David Pickover, M.B.E, will be with us again this year. David is a retired police officer. He was an instructor at the Detective Training School and Commandant of the West Yorkshire Police Training School. David is also the co-author of several books on Criminal Law and Procedure. Gerry Dickinson another excellent tutor from the DTS stable.

Development Network Associates

Mike Jacobs. His popular inputs are ever more applicable to the needs of licensing people. He was principal Training Officer at Devon County Council for some years and is a member of the Institute of Personnel and Development, and the British Psychological Society.

Brooks Jordan Training Services

Chris Jordan is a qualified Personal Safety Advisor and member of the Nottinghamshire Chamber of Commerce and the National Coaching Foundation. He has 25 years experience in enforcement both in Trading Standards and assisting taxi licensing.

Jon Brooks is a serving Nottinghamshire police officer and specially trained in the field of Personal Protection/Conflict Management. He is also a former police bodyguard and is a Home Office approved Personal Safety Instructor.

Eddie Gorman

Eddie is the former Managing Director and Marketing Director of LalPac Ltd, the developers of LalPac Licensing Administration Software.

He is a founder member of the Association and has been the Chairman of the Training Sub Committee and has years of licensing experience. He is also a former Licensing Officer for Bolton Council.

National Association of Licensing & Enforcement Officers

Facilitating the specialist licensing sessions, on everything from the law to keeping the peace at open forums, are a number of the Association’s most experienced officers who between them have a wealth of service in law enforcement and licensing...

Peter Perkins MBE is a former National Chairman and National Secretary and is well known for his licensing seminars and lectures throughout the country. He is a Home Office qualified tutor. He was the senior licensing officer at Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council.

Bryan Denby MRS, is a founder member of the association, formerly South East Regional Chairman, author of “The Book” and member of the Training Sub Committee. He is experienced in lecturing on licensing matters throughout the country and was the licensing officer for Worthing Borough Council.

Anne Aspinwall the Association’s former National Chair and former Chairman of theTraining Sub Committee, with years of licensing and training experience.

Roger Butterfield is the Association’s honorary solicitor and until recently was a solicitor for Kirklees Metropolitan Council specialising in licensing law. Roger is now a consultant specialising in licensing and training.

John Thompson

Is a National Committee member and the Principal Licensing & Enforcement Officer at Sefton MBC. He has many years experience and has recently qualified as a Member of the Institute of Legal Executives.

Peter Barratt

A serving Police Officer, who, during his long service, has gained invaluable experience regarding car crime and is currently a member of the Intelligence unit.
